GOALS
The BuckandSons English Bulldog kennel aims to have all its breeding females and males quickly certified as "ENCI Selected Breeding Stock." These selected breeders hold at least the "Gold Medal" status under the health program promoted by the *Circolo Italiano Bulldog* (Italian Bulldog Club), an ENCI-affiliated association dedicated to the protection of the breed. The parents of the puppies at the kennel are health-tested and come with a full set of certifications, including clearance for heart conditions (via echocardiogram/Doppler), genetic testing for HUU and cystinuria, and measurements confirming a healthy trachea size (via X-ray and tracheal index). Additionally, they are certified free from nostril stenosis and knee dysplasia, and have their DNA on file.
SELECTED BREEDERS
All BuckandSons English bulldogs already proclaimed as selected breeders have undergone a preliminary examination for elbow and hip dysplasia. This is complemented by DNA testing to diagnose parentage. A copy of all documentation relating to these tests, which certify the health of the BuckandSons English bulldog, is always provided to the new owners of the puppies. This work demonstrates the extremely high level of selection we carry out on our breeders. Only from Buck And Sons.
